The Jim & Jane Isebrand Sale – 10:00 August 23, 2014 Antiques, Collectibles, Household & Toyota Tacoma SR5 W/TRD Sports Pkg. 1513 S. 15th Ave. W. Newton, Iowa 50208

Thanks for coming to the sale! It really went well and even better considering the rain we had earlier that morning. The Tacoma did well. I want to thank the Isebrand’s for letting me help them with their auction needs. Special thanks to Brenda, Karen, Holly, Jace and Adam. They worked very hard and I appreciate it. Mary did a great job with the refreshments. We’re hoping for another sale in October. I’m going to do another antique collectible sale. If you have antiques, collectibles or good clean primitives that you would like to turn into money, give me a call or send me an email. The Fall sales are always good! Thanks! Greg

Folks, this is going to be a wonderful sale! The Isebrands are selling virtually their entire household contents to include antiques, collectibles, yard equipment, Fuji bikes and their beautiful 2005 Toyota Tacoma SR5 pick up. It isn’t often you run into such high quality, lightly used merchandise at auction. It’s going to be a fun sale.   There really is something for everyone in this sale. Be sure to click on the pictures below to get a larger image to come up. We’ll be selling all of the very clean, high quality furniture, there will be a very nice sleeper sofa, recliner and assorted tables and chairs. There are two matching 8′ X 11′ area rugs, newer and in excellent condition. Of a special interest, there will be two very old rockers. One rocker is an old sewing rocker with the revolving drawer built into the seat. Very cool! An excellent gift for your favorite seamstress. There will be the bedroom suite, a nice glider rocker, a real nice Duncan Phyfe occasional table, another nice old bedroom suite, cedar chest, a wonderful old glass-footed piano stool, a very nice desk layout for a working home office, a First Alert home safe, and lots of clean general household items. Did you see the picture of the 1950′s Cheerios cereal box top promo gift? Do you remember the Cheerios Kid? Jane does and can sing the Cheerios song!!!! There is the Elvis record to. I believe that’s a 50 qt. dehumidifier. Out in the garage there will be the Toro self propelled mower with bag and other attachments, an MTD 24″ two stage snow blower (yes, it will snow and snow a lot it will), all of the rakes, shovels and ladders you will ever need and in excellent no rust condition. The “Sock Monkey” was made by Aunt Ellie! Wall hangings and a very nice hall bench. There will be that wonderful old dress form. I haven’t seen many of the wire forms and this has some very nice details. The vintage room partition is made with walnut. Very nice. It’s 6′x6′, so it’s a real versatile divider to use. Do you have a coffee shop, small fine dining area, a HUGE room where you need a little privacy?? Here’s the beautiful solution.  There will be some jewelry, glassware and other assorted antiques and collectibles. That's a Marshall Texas crockery butter churn. Vintage Laurel & Hardy dolls. We've just added some very nice vintage interior doors. Solid oak rails for the top, lock and bottom rails. The panels are veneer.I see a couple of minor splits in the panels that would be an easy repair. There are so many applications for these doors. Of course used as doors is best, but also linked they could be a room divider. I know you crafty folks can put these to good use. We think we have all of the hardware for the doors.  The dimensions are, all doors are 7 1/2' tall, so there is some room for shortening, the screen door is 36" wide, the  doors w/knobs are 32" wide and the push doors are 32" wide. The First Alert Safe has a collapsible handle and it's on wheels, very easy to move around. The electronic combination has not been used, sellers have always just used the key. The Fisher Price Pull Along Duck is late 1940's as are the two little girl dresses.
Now onto the pick up truck. If you know Toyota, then you know this is a real nice truck and perfect for our Iowa climate. We have set a very reasonable reserve on the truck. I think the reserve helps qualify the bidding group and will help speed up the sale. It is reasonable and well below book. I will not divulge the reserve price. We’ll go past it during the sale, so it won’t really make a difference. The reserve protects the seller’s interest and helps the bidders to get to the goal of owning it quicker. Here’s the info I received from Jim: 2005 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab, 115,162 miles, equipped w/SR5 Pkg, TRD Sport Pkg, 4.0 Liter V-6, 4X4, Power Steering, Brakes, Windows, Mirrors, Automatic Transmission, Cruise Control, AM/FM Stereo w/6 Disc CD Changer with Steering Wheel controls, 17″ Alloy Wheels, Fog Lights, Sliding Rear Window and Bed Liner.  Always fully serviced and I have the service records since I’ve owned the truck.
It doesn’t get much better than that. With those miles, it’s hardly broken in. The truck will sell at noon. Payment in hand before title transfer.
Folks, if you’re a collector, reseller, flea or ebayer, this is a “must see” sale. Here's a link to my main site, so click here and bookmark my page. If you want, feel free to print out the flyer below for the info and to share with others.
We will be adding more items and pictures as we get them, so check back often.
Thanks!
