Folks, this is going to be a good sized sale. Dorothy has had two homes for a long time. One home in Newton and the other in Arizona. Both homes are fully equipped with everything she needs. She has decided she only needs one home now, and will reside in Arizona. There is several decades of living in the Newton home. It’s a real nice house in a real nice part of Newton. The house is for sale by Dorothy, and will not be sold at the auction. All of the contents will be at auction. Harold, Dorothy’s husband passed away twelve years ago. All of his tools, fishing tackle, two rifles, yard equipment and all of that will be at auction. There will be some very nice furniture. One piece of local interest would be the chest of drawers manufactured right here in Newton, in the 40′s by the McLaughlin & Hillard Co.. It’s oak and in excellent condition. In the pictures, you will see that beautiful swag lamp! Oh my! Talk about 1970′s!!!! That’s a real gem. Aladdin lamp, some real nice railroad lamps with one be the red glass. Some crocks, a 1929 Maytag washer with two side tubs. Modern working Maytag washer & dryer. Freezers, refrigerators. Lots of canning supplies, nice bedroom suite, Stevens Model 258A 20 ga. shotgun, Stevens Model 87D 22 cal. rifle. Seth Thomas mantle clock, all the kitchen stuff, table & chairs, microwave, blenders, huge country western and bluegrass album collection, like new Rainbow vacuum cleaner, early 60's 45 records Rolling Stones, Buckinghams, Beatles and more, collectible dolls, Hawkeye Barbie in the box, gas grill and more and more items. We’re finding something different each time we look! Mark this sale in your calender it’s going to be a great one! This may be your only chance in your lifetime to have a real stuffed alligator of your own!!!
Here's that cabinet I've been talking about. It's made by the Wilson Kitchen Cabinet Co. I've also included the Maytag Model 29, it's works fine and the Daisy #107 BB Gun. How about that ice cream shop chair! Some old 60's Boy Scout stuff, marbles and we did find some more today. Like new Hawkeye picnic basket, vintage Pflueger fly reel, 1988 Apple III computer. Lots of tools! We keep finding new and interesting items each time we go into the house.
The house is for sale by the owner. Call her daughter Barb @ 602-320-7300, it is a lovely home, 2 bath, 2 car garage in a real nice neighborhood.
